Sixty minutes, once a month, where rest becomes the priority.

why I started
sound for deep rest
I created these sessions to be 60 minutes of dedicated self-care.
When life gets busy, taking care of ourselves is the first thing to go. We spend so much of our time working, supporting others, and keeping up with everyday life that we rarely stop and ask ourselves when we last truly rested.
I wanted to create a space to rest, to breathe, to process, to release, or simply enjoy an hour where nothing is expected of you.
Spaces for this class are intentionally limited. Book now

the space
These sound bath sessions take place in the Painted Barn at Barnham Broom, NR9 4DB, a peaceful countryside setting only 20 minutes from Norwich.
Surrounded by open landscape and quiet nature, the space offers a calm environment away from the noise and pace of everyday life.

What to expect
Everyone’s experience is different, and there is no correct way to feel.
The sound from these particular bowls can guide the brain into theta brainwave activity. Theta is a state often associated with deep meditation, daydreaming, and the moments just before sleep.
In this state the analytical, thinking part of the mind becomes quieter. The body can move into a place of rest where the nervous system is able to regulate more easily.
Because of this, people sometimes experience things such as:
• drifting in and out of sleep
• vivid imagery or colours
• dream-like thoughts or memories
• a feeling of floating or deep heaviness
• emotional release during or after
• a deep sense of calm
What should I bring?
Comfort is very important during these sessions, as the more supported the body feels, the easier it is for the nervous system to relax.
You will spend extended time lying down in stillness, so it can help to bring anything that allows you to feel warm and supported.
I really recommend bringing:
• a blanket
• warm socks
• a small pillow or cushion
• an eye pillow or scarf to cover the eyes
Organic cotton yoga mats and bolsters are provided.
I truly recommend making yourself at home; this space is for you to rest. The more comfortable you are, the more your body can let go.
