WORKSHOP DETAILS

Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana) is a pose that challenges strength, control, and trust. It requires a combination of shoulder stability, core engagement, and weight distribution, but it doesn’t have to feel impossible. For many, the struggle comes from a lack of strength, difficulty finding balance, or fear of falling. With the right approach, this pose becomes far more accessible than it seems.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in your inversion practice, this in-person workshop will give you the tools to move forward. Rather than just kicking up and hoping for balance, you’ll learn how to build the necessary strength, refine your alignment, and make small but powerful adjustments for better control. With step-by-step guidance, hands-on support, and a focus on confidence, this session will help you feel more stable, more in control, and more at ease in your forearm stand.

Glyn. H

Katrina devised a wonderful weekend of yoga with carefully thought-out sessions. Each had a strong focus on the technique and biomechanics of key poses and transitions to help improve practice.
Her explanations were clear and precise as she demonstrated poses and movements. She’s is very observant so there was always a helpful flow of reminders during the sessions.
Her gentle and open style of teaching encourages questions - I am sure everyone left the course with clear ideas of how to progress.
